Dimark attended the IATA World Data Symposium 2026 in Singapore, an event focused on data, technology and the future of the air transport industry.

Among the many topics discussed, cybersecurity stood out as one of the most relevant and actively explored areas. The sessions provided valuable insight into how the industry is approaching current threats, regulatory requirements and the growing complexity of airport systems.

What was particularly noticeable was the openness of the discussions. Airlines, airports and technology providers are increasingly treating cybersecurity not as a competitive area, but as a shared responsibility. This shift is critical, especially as airport infrastructure becomes more interconnected and dependent on integrated digital systems.

For Dimark, these conversations directly relate to how modern baggage handling systems are designed and supported. Ensuring secure, reliable operation today goes beyond hardware, it requires continuous monitoring, system integration and protection of the entire infrastructure environment.

The event was also a valuable opportunity to exchange perspectives as a team and better understand how global players are addressing these challenges in practice.

Thank you for the insightful discussions. We look forward to continuing the conversation at upcoming industry events.
