At PTE World in London, Dimark presented a case study showing how complex airport infrastructure upgrades can be delivered under demanding operational conditions.
The presentation focused on two major brownfield transformations completed at Wrocław Airport. The first was a live modernization of the baggage handling system, delivered by Dimark while regular airport operations continued. The second was a complex airside transformation completed within a 40-day operational shutdown.
Both projects required careful planning, close coordination and the ability to adapt to the realities of an operating airport environment. They demonstrated how modernization can be carried out effectively even under strict time constraints and in technically demanding conditions.
The case study was presented jointly by Tomasz Lenart, Terminal Operations Director at Wrocław Airport, and Mikołaj Lis, Deputy R&D Director at Dimark. Their presentation offered practical insight into the delivery of airport upgrades where operational continuity, timing and execution precision are critical.
